Shahtex (Leicester) Ltd is a family run circular knitting company established 32 years ago manufacturing high quality weft knitted single and double jersey fabrics. We also supply garment manufacturers fabric to their specification.

The fabrics we produce cover a broad spectrum of types and weights from plain single jerseys, interlock, microfibres, ottoman, ponti de roma and ribs to stripes and intricate jacquards in viscose, polyester, nylon, cotton and acrylic with or without Lycra. All fabrics are dyed in the U.K. to exact European standards. The colour that is chosen for the fabric by the customer is precisely lab dipped and matched to sample shade given. Test reports are provided to any store standard, to ensure you are satisfied that it is a perfect match.
